Collaborative agreement signed with the German Energy Agency (dena)

Landsea Technology and the German Energy Agency (dena) formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Beijing to expand strategic cooperation in the planning, design and construction of energy efficient and passive energy-saving buildings.

The agreement also includescollaboration in the development of China’s energy efficiency standards for the southern region of the country and emphasizes the development of quality supervision systems. This agreement is a landmark for Landsea Technology towards becoming the company to benchmark with on green building technology services.

In alignment with Landsea’s Group “Deep Green Strategy; Landsea Technology mission is to become the most competitive green building technology services provider for residential and public buildings. Landsea Technology offers a full range of products and services for the green building industry including technical services, construction, property management, engineering and technology consulting.

Signing on behalf the Landsea Group, Chairman, Mr Tian Ming, said, “ Energy conservation and the development of anenergy efficient economy are of global concern as well as part of our country’s developmentpolicy; hence, the low-carbon transformation of the construction industry has become urgent. To tackle this, Landsea technology will continue to develop green building technologies and investing heavily in research and development. This is an excellent agreement that will help us address the environmental – energy challenges that we face today”.

Dena is the center of expertise for energy efficiency, renewable energy sources and intelligent energy systems and actively promotes them in a number of countries. Signing on behalf Dena, senior representative, Mr Stephen Kohler, said, “Dena is confident of the technical and organizational capabilities of Landsea Technology and believes that this strategic cooperation agreement will lay the foundations for the growth of China’s green building technology market. With years of experience, Landsea Technology has already become a leader of China’s green building industry and is capable of providing technical services. Both organizations will work together to expand our collaboration and jointly promote the development of China’s green building technologies and energy standards”

In representation of China’s Real Estate and Housing Research Association and the Housing Industry Development and Technology Committee, Secretary General, Mr. Sun Kefang, said, “China’s green building industry still lacks an integrated green building technology service chain. The cooperation between Landsea and Dena will certainly fill this gap and speed up the development of the green building industry and the introduction of energy efficiency standards”.

Landsea joined the German Green Building Council in 2011 and became the first Chinese real estate firm part of the German Green Construction Committee. Due to its extensive technological and service capabilities and its industry experienceLandsea is also a member of the U.S. Green Building Council; which haves also signed separate cooperation agreements with the Landsea Group subsidiaries in Jiangsu, Shanghai and Zhejiang provinces.
