Landsea Chairman Tian Ming and President Xiang Jiong were also there to offer their guidance, encouraging Landsea Ivy BU to provide best aged care service and cultivate professionals, thus becoming the pacesetter of China in aged care service.
People-oriented design in the aged care community
Landsea Aged Care Ruicheng Community, as the first and largest community of comprehensive aged care in Gulou District developed by Landsea Ivy, has attracted great attention. With Dynamic Aged Care and Community for All Age Groups, the Ruicheng Community provides professional and perfect experience for users. The community has a total space of 2,000 square meters, providing exclusive experience sections for users in different age groups. It also provides the elderly people with professional respite care, at home aged care and leisure rehabilitation, etc. to meet actual needs of various users.
Principal Zhu Xiankun of Landsea Ivy said the Group will provide users with professional teams and rehabilitation plans in the following operations, according to various situations and personal demands. At the same time, it will gradually improve the service level of aged care community so as to provide better and more relaxed aged lifestyle for the elderly group.
International service philosophy meets demands for elderly care
As aging proceeds in China, Nanjing now has 1.5 million elderly people aged above 60, accounting for more than 15% of total population in the city. Gulou District has 215,000 people aged above 60, taking 23.3% of total registered population in the District, meaning its aging degree higher than the average level in Nanjing. Nevertheless, the District has only 36 aged care facilities and organs. This number is far from meeting the increasing demand for aged care service.

Participating leaders visit Aged Care Ruicheng Community
As the professional aged care community service, Landsea Aged Care Ruicheng Community, relying on the Global Development Strategy and rich resources of Landsea Group, employs the leading aged care service teams from USA, Japan and Europe (Germany and Denmark) and exclusively introduces the service unit from Japan and high-tech green system. Each room is equipped with electric nursing bed, emergency call system, elderly-suitable doors and other facilities. Even more, its management has more than 10 years’ experience in professional service. It also uses the aged care & welfare training mechanism and standards from Japan, thus greatly improving users’ satisfaction.

According to Ni Yiru, Vice Mayor of Gulou District, Aged Care Ruicheng Community is the key livelihood project developed by the District Government, which will give full support and build the project into the demo community in China of comprehensive service for all age groups. It will become a window that carries on social ethics and present the spirit of the elderly people, thus kicking off the new model of in-community aged care while benefiting the people and society.
More elderly people will enjoy their elderly life
To some degree, the Landsea Ivy community has solved the aging problem confronted by Gulou District, which has attracted great emphasis from local government and top management of Landsea Group. It not only provides a brand-new attempt to solve the worsening aging problem in China, but also functions as a model and case for other companies to follow for fulfilling their CSR. Just as what Director-General Xia of Jiangsu Provincial Office of Elderly People’s Work Committee was quoted, “To facilitate development of aged care industry, the government has the responsibility to introduce private capital into the industry so that the elderly people will enjoy their elderly life”.
