LANDSEA INTRODUCES BOSTON’S IMPORTANT LANDMARK
PIERCE BOSTON BREAKS GROUND

Time:2015-10-15

On Oct 15th, 2015 Mayor Martin Walsh and Boston City Councilor Josh Zakim joined developer Landsea partnership with Sameuls & Associates  and in association with Weiner Ventures to celebrate the groundbreaking of Pierce Boston this morning. Pierce will be a striking 30-story tower at the corner of Boylston Street and Brookline Avenue., Pierce Boston will include 109 condominium units, 240 rental units and more than 20,000 square feet of street-level retail and restaurant space. After finshed, Pierce Boston will reshape the Boston skyline from the west with dramatic profile.

The tower design is bold and contemporary, drawing the eye upward with its glass-wrapped exterior, with a slender profile and triangular site that is visually striking from all angles. On-site amenities will include a rooftop swimming pool, fitness center, restaurant, 24/7 concierge service and 80 adjacent parking spaces. Pierce Boston’s 40 EB-5 quotas were already sold out; the condo pre-sale in Chinese market will start this year in the middle of November.

Designed by world-renowned architects Arquitectonica as their first Boston property., Arquitectonica spans the globe, with projects in 54 countries on five continents. Well-known projects include the Microsoft Europe Headquarters in Paris, the Bronx Museum in New York, Festival Walk and the Cyberport Technology Campus in Hong Kong, the International Finance Center in Seoul, the US Embassy in Lima, and the Infinity towers in San Francisco.

"This venture represents the next stage in Landsea’s vision of establishing a national U.S. residential development company." said Landsea Founder and Chairman Tian Ming. "With its strong foundation in education, medical sciences and regional economics, Boston continues to attract top employers, students and investors.  The northeast region, and Boston in particular, provides the basic investment traits we value in our growth here in the U.S.”

Situated in the heart of the city, Pierce Boston is a fresh addition to Boston’s most vibrant and flourishing neighborhood, The Fenway. It is the only building of its kind in the area, and will significantly raise the profile of the neighborhood and add a contemporary sophistication to Boston’s skyline.

“The Fenway has been completely reinvigorated over the last decade, and Pierce Boston is the jewel in its crown,” said Steve Samuels, chairman and principal, Samuels & Associates. “This is our first project to make this level of impact on Boston’s skyline, and it will add a sense of drama and beauty to this gateway parcel that will be like nothing the city has seen before.”
